Please wear comfortable clothing that allows for access to the treatment area, or clothing that can easily be removed. Please shave any hair in the treatment area before your appointment.

VelaShape™ uses combined Radio Frequency and light energies, plus gentle suction and massaging action, to precisely target problem fat chambers within the skin. Patients report a feeling similar to a heated deep tissue massage. Sessions last from 20-40 minutes depending on the size of the area treated. 1 treatment session a week is recommended for a total of 4-12 treatments.

Treatment is safe and effective for all skin types and colors. There are no reported short or long term health effects. It is normal to experience a warm sensation for a few hours post treatment. Your skin may also appear red for several hours. It is recommended that you drink at least 8 oz. water after treatment.

Gradual improvement of the treated area can be seen following the first treatment-with the skin surface of the treated area feeling smoother, firmer and tighter. Results in circumference and cellulite reduction will be most apparent 6-8 weeks following the final treatment session. The average range of circumferential reduction is 0.5-3 inches. Following your complete treatment regimen, it is recommended to get maintenance treatments every 1-3 months. Results will last longer if you follow a balanced diet and exercise regularly.
