Thigh
Lift
CONSIDERATIONS / PREPARATION / PROCEDURE / RECOVERY / RESULTS
Like other body lifts, a thigh lift tightens the skin of the thighs
and removes excess fatty tissue and skin. The results are taut, attractive
legs, and the confidence to wear shorts or a bikini again.
A good candidate for a thigh lift is one who recently lost weight and
has excess skin on the inner and outer thigh areas. Liposuction may
be used to enhance the result.

The RTH Plastic Surgery cosmetic consultation is an important step in the process of considering aesthetic surgery. Dr. Hajjar and the RTH staff are committed to helping you become well informed about the actual process of preparing for a thigh lift. Feel free to ask any questions and to let us know how we can help you throughout the process.
An RTH Physician will spend time with you discussing your wishes and desires. He will examine you and give you his professional opinion about how to best achieve your goals. Your RTH doctor will work with you to determine whether you are a good candidate for a thigh lift. Other services may be recommended in combination with this service to be sure that you have an optimum surgical result and a wonderful surgical experience.
| Considerations |
 |
Your candidacy for this procedure is determined during the consultation phase. Your RTH doctor will help you to decide whether you are a good candidate for a thigh lift. He will take into consideration your specific needs, your age, health and various other factors. Thigh lifts are elected by both men and women of all ages.

drinking anything including water. Please do not smoke and check
with your RTH physician regarding any medication that you are taking
regularly.

| Recovery |
 |
Just as everyone is an individual, everyone recovers differently. Avoiding
strenuous activity and sleeping on your back is recommended for a couple
of weeks following surgery. Most patients are back to work within a
few weeks.
A couple days after your surgery your RTH doctor will follow-up with you to see
how you’re healing, answer any questions and if necessary prescribe medication.
| Results |
 |
While results may vary, a thigh lift can give you the confidence to
wear shorts or a bikini again. Many patients enjoy a tightening of
the skin around the thigh and an overall more youthful appearance to
their legs.
Your RTH Physician may recommend complimentary services to maximize your desired
result. These may include a liposuction,
a breast augmentation, breast
lift and breast
reconstruction.
