Oxygenating
Peel
PREPARATION / PROCEDURE / RECOVERY / RESULTS
This treatment is a peel and antioxidant therapy to correct and prevent
free radical damage. Oxidative and environmental damage is one of the
more significant contributors to the aging process. The oxygenating
peel helps to stimulate respiration and circulation within the skin.
It helps promote healing and rejuvenates sluggish, tired skin depleted
by toxins, pollutants, allergens, improper diet and solar damage. Acne
conditions also benefit greatly. This treatment is ideal before a special
event. Drawing oxygen to the skin’s surface will produce a rosy flush
and rapid warming sensation. The result? A radiant, healthy look that
lasts up to ten days.
| Preparation |
 |
Please avoid sun exposure one week prior to appointment. Please remove all makeup and lotions prior to your appointment.
| Procedure |
 |
In this treatment, a chemical solution is gently applied to the skin,
which causes it to peel. The skin is thoroughly cleansed with an agent
that removes excess oils and the eyes and hair are protected. The active
agent is then applied to small areas on the skin, enabling new, regenerated
skin to appear.
During the procedure, most patients experience a warm to somewhat hot sensation
that lasts about five to ten minutes.
