Micropigmentation Procedure Considerations
A patch test is done to determine whether you have an allergic reaction to the pigment that will be used. You will select the color, based on advice and suggestions from the RTH makeup technician. The technician then sketches the area to be tattooed with a sterile surgical pen. A topical anesthetic gel is applied on the area.
Your Micropigmentation Procedure
Your visit will be as comfortable as being in your own home. You will be seated comfortably or lying down during the procedure.
We apply special dyes through a delicate hand piece specifically designed for this procedure to accent your natural beauty. Using new micro-pigmentation techniques, eyelashes, eyebrows, and lip margin can be highlighted to help you look your best at all times.
Micropigmentation is performed in an our office. The procedure itself will take a short amount of time, perhaps 20 minutes to a half hour at most.
Your RTH technician may recommend avoiding direct sunlight for several weeks. You will be able to resume normal activities the same day.
Your RTH doctor or RTH technician will instruct you on how often you should ice the area and what type of ointment you can apply to the area. If you are having the procedure performed in your eye region, you should plan to have someone drive you to the office and home again. You may experience tearing, which is normal.
While results may vary, micropigmentation patients enjoy a fuller more dramatic color to the treated region.
Permanent make-up patients enjoy not needing to apply bothersome cosmetics everyday. They typically save time in the morning and don't need to worry about makeup touch-ups throughout the day.
It takes about 2 to 3 weeks for the color to fade to its permanent shade allowing you to enjoy the results of the procedure.
