Laser hair removal offers a safe, fast, and effective alternative for dealing with unwanted hair on all body parts including the face, back, underarms, bikini line, legs, and arms.This new approach to Laser Hair Removal uses an advanced skin cooling system to ensure a comfortable treatment. Most individuals need 5-8 treatments at approximately 4-12 week intervals.This is a permanent reduction of hair.
All skin types I through VI can be treated. Skin type I is very fair, always burns, and never tans (usually blonde hair and blue eyes). Skin Type VI never burns (dark skin, dark hair and eyes).
You may need to be treated from 5 to 8 times at intervals of 4 to 12 weeks. There are three phases of hair growth- anagen, catagen, and telogen. Only hairs in the active growth phase, anagen, can be successfully treated.

All areas to be treated MUST be shaved as closely as possible 12-24 hours prior to your appointment. Avoid sun exposure 4 weeks prior to appointment. Do not wax, tweeze or use self tanning products 4 weeks prior to appointment. All make up and lotions need to be removed prior to treatment.
Please wear clothing that exposes the treatment area, or clothing that can easily be removed during treatment.

The laser selectively targets your hair follicles and heats them with infrared energy. The laser beam treats many hairs at once, making treatment of large areas practical. Our laser employs a unique computer guided scanning system that automates the treatment, ensuring that your skin is rapidly and evenly treated. The computer sets the parameters and places the beam in an optimum pattern for your skin to ensure a safe, fast, effective and gentle treatment. A system for cooling your skin will be used to remove heat as it leaves the follicles and should ensure a comfortable treatment. However, since the sensation varies from individual to individual, a topical anesthesia can be provided.

Some redness and slight swelling may be present in the area that has been treated; however, this should subside within a few hours. If any prolonged redness or swelling occurs consult your physician. Keep the treated area clean, use at least SPF 30 sunscreen when outdoors, and follow physician instructions. Do not expose treated area to sun for prolonged periods for 1 week post treatment.

Hair loss will be most evident 10-14 days after each treatment. However,
a full series of treatment is required for permanent reduction of hair. To
receive the optimum result, we will customize a skin care product regimen for
you to enhance and maintain your skin.
